For current 12th graders, due to pandemic conditions resulting in school closure, 15 hours of community service have been waived from graduation requirements. Students who are in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade this school year will need to complete the full requirements set out in Board Policy.
All required community service hours for the class of 2024 must be turned into the College and Career Center by May 1, 2024. Please contact the College and Career Center staff to learn more and pick up the Community Service form for documenting hours.

Community Service Award
Eligibility for the Community Service Award will also be prorated as follows:
12th Grade (Class of 2024) = 150 hours
11th Grade (Class of 2025) = 200 hours
10th Grade (Class of 2026) = 200 hours
9th Grade (Class of 2027) = 200 hours
En el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Santa Bárbara, los requisitos de graduación incluyen la realización de 60 horas de servicio comunitario (BP 6146.1).
Para los estudiantes actuales del 11º y 12º grado, debido a las condiciones de la pandemia que ocasionaron el cierre de las escuelas, las 15 horas de servicio comunitario se han eliminado de los requisitos de graduación. Los estudiantes que están en 9º grado este año escolar tendrán que cumplir plenamente con los requisitos establecidos en las normas del Consejo.
